And making that statement, while staying with my same scary theme, we all know it is the night before Halloween!
That means, it is also the night before the Trick or Treat show begins, and its actually alright to Scream!
So tomorrow night, as old and young are all trying to have fun each in their own way..... realizing that not everybody thinks screaming is neat or Okay...
we must understand there Needs to be many Sweet Safe Places for those who are just playing.
Yes indeed, as the safe homes represented, and the trusted adults known, are being weirdly transformed and invaded by witches, vampires, and terrifying ghosts who we don't know...
Yes as the kids are knocking on our door, while innocently walking up to us, or sweetly straying into our webbed nests of scary things much more is going on for sure during Halloween!
So, in that tricky statement as the kids are asking us for candy, do we ever really know what issues are hiding behind the children's masks?
Do we really know how fast their little hearts are beating in their chests?
And Without asking, while looking at the weird shadows they cast... do we know if the child behind the mask is actually happy?
Do we really know what's going on inside of their heads as they walk the streets of the worm filled dead?
Do we know if they are painfully shy?
So bottom line one more time...lets put the treat back into Halloween.
That means, please Pray for the ones who you meet and greet, as they walk away.
And Please Do not Scare the Kids on Halloween... or any day!” Joslin Fitzgerald.
