LETS THANK A VET

"Good morning world lets THANK A VET TODAY! So taking a slight deviation from my other blogs, I too want to say a special THANK YOU to our Veterans on Veterans Day

and every day !

Saying that during this remembering relay, as Veteran’s day once more threatens to pass away, as many thoughts about my daddy, country, sons, and friends are still coming to my mind here's another great idea….

instead of saying Thank You only one day out of the year…..

Let’s THANK our VETS

ALL OF THE TIME!….

No I am not crazy…

Yes I know it’s not veterans day today.

But as I was writing this post on Veterans Day....

I again realized saying Thank You to somebody who has served our country, or who was wounded

or died and was a member of a family still crying.....

is NOT A ONE DAY THING!

So I have saved my

THANK YOU

for just an ordinary day!

Therefore  I am saying to all young or old in line…

let’s Thank our Veterans

ALL OF THE TIME!

Yes, let’s Thank a Veteran every day especially when we see them coming and going wearing their identification hat.

Yes, lets Thank those who would  not run from the gun.

Yes, let’s Thank those who are right now silently displaying their wounds one by one on their tattoos for you and me.

Sadly those enduring injuries include the mental and physical pain tattooed on their skin representing a private grieving of

torture we ignore.....

yet that we Can see.

And let’s also thank our Vets for the other invisible damages to their heart....

involving secret pain, that we cannot

even imagine or conceive.

Yes, let’s Thank our brave ones who took a stand.

Yes let's Thank those who won’t ever run when freedom is challenged and evil still rampages and has ravished the land.

Yes, let’s Thank those men and women who were,

and are still today strong to the core when the terrorists knock on our door.

Yes, every day let’s THANK our women and men who are wearing their signature shirts and hats to the store.

Absolutely they do that for a reason, because they want us to see them!

No our Vets do not want us to forget them in their season.

So going along our freedom- way….let’s THANK A VET RIGHT NOW!

AND LETS MAKE EVERY DAY VETERANS DAY!” Joslin Fitzgerald
